CURRICULUM
A strong PK to 12 Information Technology program integrated into all curricular areas and supported by a qualified IT department and based in ISTE standards (International Society for Technology n Education).

EBOOKS
Our ebooks run in three different platforms. You can find ebooks within the following platforms: Think Central, eHarcourt School, My HRW.
All students should have their usernames and passwords for their appropriate ebooks. If you still do not have it, please contact your teacher.

TABLETS TECH CART FOR PK STUDENTS
Tablets aren't only for adults; even the littlest kids love swiping, tapping and tilting their way through apps on this tablet. It's not all fun though; the tablet is an interactive way to teach our preschoolers everything from shapes to colors to numbers and counting!

INTERNET ACCESS - THE FASTEST IN PRIVATE K-12 SCHOOLS IN NICARAGUA
200 MB clear channel received through optical fiber + a second 75 MB optical fiber backup link to help improve the teaching and learning process at LIA. Internet access connects individual computer , mobile devices to the internet enabling users to access Internet services.

LIBRARY MEDIA CENTER
Library is equipped with 20 Chromium desktop PCs divided in 4 media and research center. In addition library now count with a new projection room equipped wit a 42 inches LCD TV and Laptop to access to the newest material online.

MULTIMEDIA CLASSROOMS
All classrooms at PK ,Elementary, High School and Middle School are equipped with a Desktop PC with Broad Band Internet Access connected to a LCD 3000 lumen projector (designed for bright daylight) and a surround sound audio system. Also, students from 6th to 12th grade have a new desk specially designed to be used with their laptops.
NETWORK
Lincoln´s Network is a category 6 /10-gigabit wire network with internet access of 200 MB clear channel bandwidth (with an additional 75 MB clear channel backup). The design of the network warranty security, scalability, redundancy and quality of service. Each classroom in the school has access to a wire network point. 100% of all the switches are 10-gigabit CISCO-MERAKI smart switches Layer 3 and 7. Backbones between buildings are optical fiber. We have 2 servers, a CISCO Meraki content filter-firewall-policy manager appliance to control access and security to the network, a category B_G_N-AC-AX wireless network with access in the entire campus. Wireless network is made for a group of CISCO Meraki Access points.

OTHERS
LIA has a variety of peripherals such as high-volume multi functional printers (including newest technology: solid ink color printer), scanners, digital cameras, document scan cameras, digital video cameras, high performance servers, digital telephone plant, multimedia conference room, VoIP, 100 desktop computers, 70 projectors, 90 laptops, 20 tablets tech cart, speakers in each classroom, etc. All the technological resources at LIA are focused to improve the teaching and learning process of our students.
PA SYSTEM
A Public Address or PA system is a combination of a set of audio equipment that allows broadcasts over a designated area.
The PA system is often used to broadcast daily announcements about school activities. It may be handed over to students to give reports or announce special events. The device can also be used as an emergency warning system. In case of fires, earthquakes or other natural disasters, the PA system may be the best way to instruct students and teachers on how to proceed.

SURVEILLANCE SECURITY CAMERAS SYSTEM
School video surveillance systems consist of 143 cameras placed in areas where they can monitor activity as it takes place. These cameras may include features like pan, tilt, and zoom; may be placed in outdoor or indoor locations. The system transmits images from cameras to a digital hard drive storage system. Output can be seen on a monitor that displays 32 frames of video each time. Our camera system help to improve the school environment, allow security personnel to watch for intruders, and assist in emergency preparedness.
TECH LABS
Four Information Technology Labs, with access to the latest computer and AV technology, premium software, a variety of digital tools, and access to Broad Band Internet .
We have three labs on a flexible schedule equipped with fast networked computers that all have access to Broad Band Internet . Our emphasis is on the integration of technology into the curriculum. Teachers regularly use computers to enhance classroom projects.
